What is your occupation?

I’ve been an OB/GYN doc at Wellspan Hospital in Ephrata for 21 years.

How long have you taken classes at Move It Studio?

I started taking classes last July.

Why did you start taking classes at Move It Studio?

My daughter and I were looking for something to do together while she was home for the summer. She was a dancer for 14 years. Turned out to be a great pick.

What is your favorite part of taking classes at Move It Studio?

It’s super uplifting, fun and inspiring to be in class with these talented teachers. Their different styles bring a lot of variety to class.
The focus on core strength, correct posture, and movement to music are what I love. The individual choreography and the music picks are awesome! The vibe is positive. The studio is clean.

What have you gained from your time with us?

It builds long lean muscles. Arm circles, planks, stretch class, and cardio are a great challenge for the body.

What would you say to someone considering to start taking barre classes?

It’s so fun! You have to try it!! You will definitely get abs and core strength and more flexibility if you stick with it. The best thing is sometimes, you will feel like a real live ballerina!! And who doesn’t want that?!! :)
